The PUBG Mobile 1.0 update is scheduled to hit global servers on September 9, 2020, and the patch notes for the next update are officially released.
The next update will add the long-awaited Erangel 2.0 map, Payload 2.0 mode, Beyond A.C.E. - Themed gameplay and more. The servers will not be disabled for maintenance and the update will require approximately 1GB of free storage on iOS devices, while no additional storage will be required on Android devices.
The Erangel map will be revamped with improved graphics, effects, and textures, along with the addition of new items. All famous monuments including Mylta Power, Quarry, Prison, will be completely redesigned.
New Firearm (M1014)
This is a semi-automatic shotgun that can load up to 7 rounds and can be equipped with shotgun muzzle or bullet loop accessories. It will only be available in Livik on the classic Battle Royale map and arena.
Visual effects including textures and details will be improved with some stage balance adjustments and bug fixes.
This will be a limited-time event and will be played on the Erangel map. Energy Towers will be added to this mode, and players will be able to redeem supplies from these towers if they meet certain conditions.
Payload mode will be back with all new weaponized helicopters, super weapon boxes and advanced communication towers. New armed UAZs, Dacia, Buggy and Pickups will be added alongside the new AT4-A laser guided missile and the M202 four-barreled rocket launcher. New items will also be added, including the UAV controller, portable radar, and bomb suit.
Halloween Infection Mode
The Halloween-themed Infection Mode will be available starting October 23, 2020, where zombies will wear Halloween masks with new atmospheric decorations, including lanterns, tombstones, and candles.
Besides that, this update also bring brand-new anti-cheating system upgrade.
